Last updated December 3, 2024.

We’re delighted to have you here! We’ve written this policy to be as clear and understandable as possible, avoiding complex legal and technical terms. If anything is unclear, or if you have feedback for us, please contact us.

Our primary goal is to improve the health and well-being of our users. Our mission statement is to “maximize positive impact on the world’s health and well-being through the creation of innovative products, services, education, content, and community.” Thank you for considering us!

Otto Care (“Otto Care,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a mobile application where you “raise” a digital pet to make daily health habits fun and rewarding (such services, including https://ottohabits.com/ (the “Site”) and any related mobile applications, are collectively referred to in this Privacy Policy as the “Services”).

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share that information, and your choices concerning our information practices.

Before using the Services or submitting any personal information to Otto Care, please review this Privacy Policy carefully and contact us if you have any questions. By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not access the Site or otherwise use the Services.

Our Principles

When you entrust us with sensitive and personal information, we believe it is our most important responsibility to keep it safe, secure, and private while still delivering effective features and services.

We also believe any private personal information you decide to share with others must be done with your explicit consent, in easy-to-understand language, and you should always have the option to remove that consent later if you change your mind. We take every precaution to keep that information as private and secure as possible.

This is our commitment to you. If we ever falter, we will do everything we can to make it right and regain your trust.

Why We Store Data

You may ask why we store any data at all if we want to protect your privacy. There are cases where it is the only way to deliver the Services. For example, to access your account on multiple devices or save a backup for recovery purposes, we need to store your data on our servers.

We also store data to improve our products for you and everyone else. By analyzing data, we can figure out what works best for our users and continue improving our products in ways that preserve your privacy and maintain your trust.

Improving everyone’s mental health, physical health, and well-being is a very challenging yet important goal. Your participation makes this possible, and we greatly appreciate it.
